What it is
Topical Minoxidil (Rogaine) is applied as part of our treatment or as a home treatment. FDA-approved for stimulating hair growth.

- Month 6-12: Maximum effect - stabilization of hair loss, moderate thickening in some
- After 12 months: Maintenance - continued daily use, effect maintained
Side effects
Common:
- Dry scalp (20-30%)
- Irritation (10-20%)
- Initial shedding months 2-4 (NORMAL)
- Hypertrichosis (has on the face if not careful with application)
Rare:
- Allergic reaction
- Contact dermatitis
- Palpitations (rare, at high doses)
- Increased hair growth on the face/body (in women)
Aftercare
Daily use:
- Apply to dry, clean scalp
- 1ml 1-2 times daily
- Wash your hands afterwards (avoid accidental application to the face)
- Leave for at least 4 hours before washing.
- Be consistent.
Don't do:
- Do not use on wet scalp.
- Do not rinse out immediately
- Don't skip days (consistency is key)
- Do not apply to the face (risk of hypertrichosis)
