Detailed treatment information

Here you'll find complete information about the treatment, from preparation to aftercare

Overview & Procedure

What the treatment is and how it's performed

What it is

Your own blood is centrifuged to concentrate platelets with growth factors that stimulate regeneration. The treatment uses the body's own healing mechanisms to improve skin quality, stimulate hair growth, or relieve pain.

Treatment protocol

  • Number: 2-3 treatments initially

  • Interval: 4-6 weeks

  • Effect: Gradually over 4-12 weeks

  • Duration: 6-12 months (some up to 18 months)

  • Maintenance: Every 3-6 months (critical)

PRP HAIR/SCALP:

  • Initial: 3-4 treatments

  • Interval: 4-6 weeks

  • Effect: Seen after 3-6 months

  • Duration: 6-12 months

  • Maintenance: Every 3-4 months the first year, then every 4-6 months

Dosage hair:

  • PRP 1ml: Small spots in Alopecia areata or lips

  • PRP 2.5ml: Moderate treatment area

  • PRP 5-6ml: Full scalp

PRP INTIMATE AREA:

  • 1-2 treatments

  • Evaluation after 4-8 weeks

  • Maintenance after 6-12 months

PRP FOR JOINT PAIN (PRP/APS):

  • 1-3 treatments

  • Moderate pain relief, NOT curative

  • Duration: 6-12 months

  • Maintenance: Every 6-12 months

PRP SUBCISION (Scar Treatment):

  • 2-4 treatments

  • Interval: 6-8 weeks

  • Effect: 30-70% improvement (varies)

  • Maintenance: Rarely needed after completing series

Procedure

  1. Blood sample (10-20ml)

  2. Centrifugation in a special apparatus (8-15 minutes)

  3. PRP extraction (golden liquid with a high concentration of platelets)

  4. Injection into the treatment area OR

  5. Combination with microneedling for better penetration

  6. Total time: 45-75 minutes

Duration

45-75 minutes (including blood sample and centrifugation)

Minimal to no downtime:

  • Social downtime: 0-2 days (0-5 days if bruising)
  • Makeup: From the next day
  • Can work the same day (face/neck)
