Overview & Procedure

What the treatment is and how it's performed

What it is

In a body wrap, active creams or masks are applied to the skin, and the body is wrapped in foil or warm blankets. The warmth and the ingredients stimulate circulation and lymphatic drainage. The skin becomes softer and smoother, and many people feel lighter afterwards. The effect on circumference is short-lived and comes mostly from less fluid in the tissue.

  • Can be taken as a single treatment, or as a course of 6–10 treatments, once or twice a week.

  1. The practitioner goes through your health and possible allergies.
  2. The skin is exfoliated if needed.
  3. Creams or masks are applied, and the body is wrapped.
  4. You rest in the wrap, and it is removed at the end.

The treatment takes about 75 minutes.

Experience & Recovery

Pain level, downtime and healing

The treatment does not hurt. It can get warm in the wrap.

  • Common: slight redness and warmth of the skin.
  • Rare: dizziness from the heat, or an allergic reaction to a cream.

  • Drink plenty of water for the rest of the day.
  • Wait a few hours before you shower, if the practitioner recommends it.

No downtime.
