Experience & Recovery

Pain level, downtime and healing

Pain level

No pain if done correctly. Relaxing treatment where many fall asleep.

Downtime

No downtime. Must avoid water/steam for the first 24-48 hours.

Healing time

Day 0 (After application):

  • Perfect lashes!
  • Must avoid water/steam for 24-48 hours
  • Do not touch

Week 1-2:

  • Still great lashes
  • Some extensions fall out (normal!)
  • 10-30% loss is normal

Week 3-4:

  • More thinner
  • Outgrown extensions visible
  • Time for refill

Week 5+ (Without refill):

  • Significantly thinner
  • Outgrown
  • Doesn't look good anymore

Natural lash cycle:

  • Eyelashes grow in cycles (6-8 weeks)
  • Eyelashes fall out naturally
  • Extensions fall with natural lashes
  • This is normal and expected!

Side effects

Common (if poorly applied/cared for):

  • Itch
  • Irritation
  • Natural lashes are damaged/broken
  • Infection (rare)

First 24-48 hours - CRITICAL:

  • DO NOT water on lashes
  • No steam, sauna, sweating

  • Non-quilted pillows (will become flat)

Avoid:

  • Water-based/oil-based mascara (breaks down glue)
