Overview & Procedure

What the treatment is and how it's performed

What it is

When you need tests, wound care, a vaccine or health advice, a nurse can help. The nurse takes care of the practical part and tells you if you should see a doctor.

Much is sorted in one appointment, but some things need several visits, such as wound care or vaccines given in several doses. The nurse or doctor decides how often you should come.

  1. You say what you need help with.
  2. The nurse takes tests, cares for the wound, gives the vaccine or gives advice.
  3. You hear about results and any follow-up.

Expectations & Safety

Who it's for and safety information

  • Blood tests, wound care, stitch removal and vaccines.
  • Advice on health, medicines and self-care.

  • The nurse refers you to a doctor when needed.
