What the treatment is and how it's performed

What it is

For skin with fine lines or small scars, or that has lost its glow. Fine needles start the skin's renewal, and plasma rich in platelets (PRP) from your own blood is spread over the skin.

Most people need a course of treatments a few weeks apart for a good result. The practitioner suggests how many and how often after an assessment.

  1. A blood sample is taken, and the plasma is separated out.
  2. You get a numbing cream.
  3. The skin is treated with fine needles and the plasma.
