What it is

Sports massage is massage with firm pressure, made for people who train or compete. The practitioner uses techniques such as deep strokes, kneading, trigger point treatment and stretching. Before training and competitions, the massage is shorter and faster. After training, it is calmer and aims to ease soreness and muscle tension.

  1. The practitioner goes through your training, any symptoms and what you would like help with.
  2. The massage is adapted to whether it is before or after training.
  3. The pressure is adapted to you along the way.
  4. You get advice on stretching and recovery.

The treatment takes 30–90 minutes.
