Overview & Procedure

What the treatment is and how it's performed

What it is

An ultrasonic spatula is a flat metal blade that vibrates very fast. When it is moved over moist skin, it loosens dead skin cells, oil and impurities from the pores. The treatment is gentle and suits sensitive skin well. It can be done on the face and the back.

  • Usually a series of four to six treatments two to four weeks apart.
  • Maintenance once a month.

  1. The practitioner goes through your skin and your wishes.
  2. The skin is cleansed and exfoliated.
  3. Impurities are removed if needed.
  4. The treatment ends with serum, a mask and care suited to your skin.

The treatment takes 45–60 minutes.

Experience & Recovery

Pain level, downtime and healing

The treatment does not hurt. It feels like a light tickle or prickle.

  • Common: slight redness for a few hours.
  • Uncommon: a few small spots in the first days as the skin clears.
  • Rare: irritation or an allergic reaction to a product.

  • Use mild skincare for the first day.
  • Wait until the evening or the next day before wearing make-up, if you can.
  • Use a high-factor sunscreen.
  • Avoid saunas and hard exercise for the rest of the day.

No downtime.
