Expected results

The skin can become calmer and fresher through the series. The effect is mild and depends on having several treatments.

Overview & Procedure

What the treatment is and how it's performed

What it is

LED light therapy uses light of particular colours. Blue light acts on the bacteria involved in acne. Red and near-infrared light is absorbed deeper in the skin and can support healing and collagen production. The light is gentle, gives little heat and has no downtime. The effect is mild and builds up over a series.

  • Usually 6–12 treatments, once or twice a week.

  1. The practitioner cleanses your skin.
  2. You are given protective glasses.
  3. The LED panel is placed over the area for 15–30 minutes.
  4. The treatment ends with moisturiser.
