Overview & Procedure

What the treatment is and how it's performed

What it is

A spa pedicure is extended foot care. In addition to a foot bath, care of the nails and cuticles and removal of hard skin, the feet get exfoliation, a mask and a massage. The plus version also includes paraffin, and another version has an acid peel for hard skin and a serum.

  • Every four to eight weeks, as you prefer.

  1. The feet get an aromatic foot bath.
  2. The nails are cut and shaped, the cuticles are cared for, and hard skin is removed.
  3. The feet are exfoliated and given a mask and a massage.
  4. The nails are polished if you want.

The treatment takes 60–90 minutes.

Experience & Recovery

Pain level, downtime and healing

The treatment does not hurt.

  • Rare: small cuts in the skin or irritation from the products.
  • Very rare: infection.
  • Rare: stinging or redness after the acid peel.

  • Apply moisturiser to your feet every day, especially the heels.
  • Cut your nails straight across, so they do not grow in.
  • Let the polish dry well before you put on closed shoes.

No downtime.

Expectations & Safety

Who it's for and safety information

  • If you have diabetes, reduced sensation or poor circulation in your feet, you should see an authorised foot therapist.

  • Anyone who wants a relaxing foot treatment.
  • Hard skin and dry feet.

  • Wounds, infection or eczema on the feet.
  • Diabetes with wounds, reduced sensation or poor circulation in the feet. An authorised foot therapist is then the right choice.

Contact a doctor if you get a wound that does not heal, or redness, swelling, warmth, pus or increasing pain in the foot. If you have diabetes, a wound on the foot must be examined quickly.

The feet stay soft longest with daily cream.
