Overview & Procedure

What the treatment is and how it's performed

What it is

Cognitive support and training helps you with memory, concentration, planning and keeping track in daily life. The practitioner maps what is difficult, and you make strategies together. These can be fixed routines, a calendar and reminders, digital aids or practice on specific tasks. The goal is that you manage your daily life better.

  • Usually several sessions over a few weeks, with tasks between sessions.

  1. You talk about your daily life and what is difficult.
  2. The practitioner maps memory, concentration and planning if needed.
  3. You choose strategies and aids that suit you.
  4. You try the strategies at home, and you adjust them at the next session.

Each session takes about 45 minutes.
